Thanks to everyone who participated with the 'Furry Friends' challenge at Allsorts last week. There were over 100 entries! Don't forget to visit the challenge blog to see if you were the winner or one of the Top 5.
This week the challenge has been set by Amanda and she has chosen 'Weddings'. It can be anything related to weddings (i.e. wedding/anniversary cards, invitations, favour boxes, scrapbook layouts etc). Amanda is offering a Stampin Up Xmas 'Perfect Presents' stamp for this week's prize.

One Stop Craft Challenge are celebrating their blogoversary and the challenge this week is 'Celebration' so I have made a birthday card.
This card is for Uncle Mike's birthday. Uncle Mike isn't a relative but Mike and his wife Pat have been friends with Chris' Mum and Dad for over 50 years and Chris has always called them Auntie and Uncle. I am sure most of you have an Auntie Pat or an Uncle Mike lol! Anyway Mike is a keen bowls player so I decided to make him a card using this cute Jolly Nation bowls man.

Papers ~ Jolly Nation and Dovecraft Masculine

Hope you are all having a good week (especially those of you with children lol!).

This week at Allsorts Debs has set the challenge of 'Furry Friends'.
Our sponsor is Wild Rose Studio and the DT were very lucky to be able to choose 1 of 4 really cute images to work with. I have used this cute mouse on a bauble. Please pop across to the challenge blog to see what my DT buddies have done with the other images.

It's Saturday again so that must mean it's time for a new challenge at Allsorts. This week it is Brenda's turn to set the challenge and she has chosen 'Monochrome Christmas plus a sketch'. Monochrome can be black and white or different shades of a single colour.
Image & Sentiment ~ My Craft Studio 'A Classic Christmas' CD
Papers ~ Bearly Mine Designs 'Designer Extreme Vol. III' CD
Embellishments ~ Snowflakes K&Company 'Swell Noel' Layered Accents and Kanban Gems
This week our sponsor is Nikki at Bunny Zoe's Crafts and the prize is this super cute Bildmalarna stamp ~ Tossa on Ice.
We are going to have a busy day today because we are taking the children and a friend to Planet Zoom which is an indoor play place and then tonight we are going out for a meal to celebrate my birthday. It's just going to be the 2 of us because Chris' mum is coming round to look after the children. It feels strange to go out without the children as we do lots of things together and to be honest I always feel mean leaving them at home but I am sure they will have a lovely time with Nanny.
Hope you all have a lovely weekend.

I had a spare couple of hours this morning and it was a toss up between making a card and housework! Yep you guessed it I decided to make a card! I really need to make lots of cards because I am having a stall at the Christmas Fair in our village on 28 November. This is the first time I have done anything like this and to be honest I am a little scared. My 9 year old daughter Chloe is coming along to help me (hold my hand lol!).
A few weeks ago I bought Popcorn the Bear Cosy & Warm CD so this morning I decided to print off some papers. There is a huge variety on this CD and I know I am going to make quite a few cards using it in the next few weeks in preparation for the Christmas Fair.
This card is for 2 challenges. The challenge at It's a Crafters Companion challenge is a fab sketch and there is a DT call because one of the DT members has decided to step down because of family committments.

Hope you are all having a lovely weekend. I have been up since 6 o'clock so have made another HALLOWEEN card using the Daisy & Dandelion die-cuts. This one is for the Die Cut Dreams Challenge which is a fab sketch and to use the colours Black, Purple, Orange & Green.
I decided to make this card look a little more spooky by inking the flowers and the orange cardstock. The paper is from the Bearly Mine Designer Extreme Vol III CD, Ribbon from stash, Flowers are Green Tara (Purple & Green) and the orange one is Petaloo (I have removed the yellow gem and replaced it with a black Kanban pearl). This card is for my daughter, Chloe, so hope she likes it!
Sorry about the photo ~ my camera didn't like the colours for some reason!
Hope you are all having a lovely weekend. It is sunny here today (and a little chilly) so I am now going to take Jamie for a bike ride.

Well Saturday is here again so it's time for another Allsorts Challenge. This week Gro has set the challenge and she has chosen HALLOWEEN. We are being sponsored by Pink Gem Designs and the prize is this cute stamp.
Here is my DT Card
I decided to use these cute Daisy & Dandelion Halloween Pumpkin & Aubergine die-cuts for my card. They are great value because you get 4 sheets for £1.99 and are ideal for making quick & easy Halloween cards, invitations and goody bags. I have also used MME Bloom & Grow paper, black shiny cardstock, Kanban black pearls, purple spotty ribbon from stash, a die-cut frame, Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder and Fiskars border punch.
I am also entering this card for A Spoon Full of Sugar challenge as they also have a HALLOWEEN theme this week and Simon Says Stamp BOO!
Hope you can join us at Allsorts this week as we would love to see your SPOOKY creations.

I would just like to say thank you so much to everyone who left me such lovely messages yesterday. It really means a lot to me.
Sorry I am so late with my DT card for this week's Allsorts Challenge but I had to work this morning.
This week at Allsorts the challenge is to use the colour 'Kraft'. The prize is a free download from Pink Petticoat and the DT were very fortunate as Liz at Pink Petticoat gave us all the fantastic download 'Big Fella' to work with. Thank you so much Liz! Also if you use Pink Petticoat products for your entry you can link twice so you have double the chance to win!

Autumn has definitely arrived in Norfolk today. It's very windy and leaves are blowing everywhere. Last night it was so chilly we had to turn the heating on for an hour to warm the house. Perfect weather for crafting don't you think!

Well today is the lauch of the Crafty Calendar Challenge. This month Georgia has set the challenge AUTUMN and there is also an optional extra of PLANTS AND VEGETATION. Autumn is my favourite season and I love flowers so I really enjoyed making my DT card. This is a monthly challenge with a new challenge posted on the first Friday of every month so you have plenty of time to join in the fun!
IN MEMORY OF MY DAD
One year ago today I lost my dearly loved dad. He was such a funny man and always had a joke to tell me every time I saw him. Chloe and Jamie often talk about 'Grandad John' and we all miss him so much.
This is my favourite photo of dad with Chloe and Jamie (Christmas 2005).
'Love and miss you always Dad'
